Classes and workshops from Live Ignited:
Feeling rundown and unsatisfied with your life?
Experiencing "mystery ailments" that seem to change every week?
Gaining weight even though you haven't changed your diet and exercise patterns?
Just plain sick and tired of feeling sick and tired?
If you're in your forties or fifties, chances are, if you're like most of us, you may be fearing, fighting or fleeing the changes of "The 'Pause," - menopause and the several years that come right before it.
It can be a time of great stress, self-doubt, and physical and mental anguish. The list of symptoms is long and often daunting. When THAT confronts you, it can easily spark depression or worse. And when those symptoms start hitting, you're ready to believe that menopause sucks.
But, there IS a different way.
Menopause DOESN'T have to suck!
Even though when you're in the middle of it, it seems hard to believe, The 'Pause can be a time of awakening, growth and joy.
I know because I've been there! When I was 48, menopausal symptoms I didn't even recognize had me at the lowest point of my life. I was depressed, gaining weight, and on the verge of a divorce. And, I was doing everything wrong - bad diet, no exercise, high stress job and poor sleeping habits. I knew I could let what was happening to me kill me, or I could make it the best thing that ever happened to me.
I changed my life and you can, too!
Getting fit, eating right, reducing stress and taking control of my thinking - it doesn't happen overnight, but it happens. Along the way, I got in the best shape of my life and fell in love with my healthy lifestyle. Fell so much in love that I became a certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach. Became so convinced of the benefits, I started teaching other women how to use diet, exercise, stress management and other aspects of a healthy lifestyle to manage THEIR menopausal symptoms.
I can help you understand and change how menopause affects the whole you, not just your hormones. Through a fusion of diet, fitness, and wellness coaching, together, we find natural and effective approaches to both the obstacles you face AND the opportunities which are open to you.
- Feeling - So often, we come into menopause already stressed and tired, just from life and all we've had to do for so many years. We've forgotten that we are beautiful, strong, radiant women who have so much to offer to the world. We've forgotten that we are not just a paycheck, a housekeeper, a chauffeur, but are loved and we offer love.
- Knowing - Our bodies, our emotions, our thoughts - everything is changing so fast, we don't know what's "us" and what's the hormones. It's so much easier to deal with EVERYTHING when we understand what's happening and HOW we can begin to take back control.
- Doing - Now that you FEEL you're worth it and you KNOW what's going on, it's time to ACT! Ignite! teaches you how to take the right actions to support menopausal changes - through fitness, through healthy eating habits, and through stress management.
- Being - What can the woman you are becoming do in the world? Who can you influence, change, make better? What dreams can you make happen? The 'Pause is about preparing for YOUR future and my Menopause Mastery Solutions help you prepare for and embrace that future.
Ignite! exists to help you transform your experience of menopause into your own, unique journey of self-discovery filled with joy, love and laughter!

New Year’s is coming. 2013 is almost over. 2014 is almost here. It’s a sort of artificial demarcation, really. There’s no REAL door to go through, line to step over. Except for continual interruptions for parties and other holiday events (and chores!), there’s really nothing different about one year to another. No different than one […]
